Temporary Employees

Temporary workers are our employees, remain on our payroll and we assume responsibility for payment of their salaries, payroll taxes and worker’s compensation. We bill you weekly for their time on an hourly basis.

Temporary to Hire

In this case, we would pay the employee an hourly rate and include a mark-up on your invoice to include our fee.

The mark-up also includes worker’s compensation insurance, employer matching taxes and unemployment insurance. Once the employee has fulfilled the designated hours as a temporary employee, you can hire them with no additional fees.

Direct Hire

You are then charged a percentage of the employee’s yearly salary according to a fee schedule available through our office.

Payroll Service

PointPlus will employ them for you under our temp guidelines at a reduced rate until you are ready to hire.

Less Cost

Though you will pay a service fee or hourly mark up to PointPlus Personnel, you need to keep in mind that PointPlus Personnel is paying for all of the workers comp, professional/general liability insurance, state and federal payroll taxes.

Flexibility

When you need a temporary employee or frankly any employee, there is a lot of expense and time incurred to find the qualified and best candidate for your job. When you only need someone for a few weeks or months, why do this in house when PointPlus Personnel does it for you and therefore already has the recruitment advertising dollars spent and qualified candidates lined up? You are able to use our employee(s) as much or little as you need and can discontinue their assignment once your work is complete.

No Liability

When you engage the services of PointPlus Personnel, they are not your employee. Therefore, you have no liability for their workers comp, professional/general liability, payroll taxes and unemployment claims.
